The factory mount that comes with the SLIM thermal optic is optimized for AR platform rifles. this mount (SLIM-MOUNT-3) can be used to adapt the SLIM thermal optic to better fit bolt-action rifles and rifles that don't require a taller height over bore, or have adjustable length of pull.
Compared to the factory mount, this brings the optic height lower and moves the entire optic back, towards the shooter's eye. Three different positions allow the optic to positioned for ideal eye relief for sizes of rifles and shooters.
